Kailash Region Details :

Kailash Mansarovar Location : Western Tibet. (China)
Beliefs : Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Ban-Po (all AUM followers)
Visiting Time : First May to First week of July, after July start raining, so helicopter can't operate but over land tour will not effect.
Parikrama of Kailash : 52 Km. {three days}
Altitude of Manasarovar : About 14,950 Ft. above the sea level.
Parikrama of Manas : 102 Km
Journey Time : 15 days from Ktm – Ktm - including 3 days in Kathmandu
Standard Time : Tibet time is 02 hrs ahead than Indian time
Currency : The unit of currency is Yuan(equivalent to Rs.8 Approx).

Tour Itineraries :

Day 1 :

Arrival at Kathmandu Int'l airport & Transfer to Hotel (1300 mts). Overnight in Kathmandu. - Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2010

Day 2 :

Early morning take the Everest / Mountain flight (Optional with extra cost). Return back to hotel and after breakfast leave for sightseeing of Katmandu (incl. Pashupatinath temple). Overnight - Kathmandu

Day 3 :

Early morning drive to Nyalam (Tibet) (3750 mts). Overnight in lodge - Nayalam - Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Cost

Day 4 :

Stay one more night for acclimatization in Nyalam. Overnight in lodge - Nayalam

Day 5 :

Nyalam to Saga (230kms-7 hrs) 4540 mts. Overnight in lodge - Saga

Day 6 :

Saga to Prayang 260 kms-6hrs/4840 mts. . Overnight in Lodge / Tent Prayang

Day 7 :

Prayang to Hore near Mans Lake (4560 mts). Overnight in lodge / Camp (Tents) Hore

Day 8 :

Drive to Mansarovar lake Parikrama proceed to Drachen (4650 mts). Overnight in lodge. (Parikrama day 1) Drachen

Day 9 :

Short drive to Darpoche and trek to Darapjuk (5000 mts). Overnight in Camp (Tents) (Parikrama day 2) Darapjuk

Day 10 :

Trek Proceed to Zitulphuk (5790 mts). Overnight in Camp (Tents) (Parikrama day 3) Zitulphuk

Day 11 :

Trek to Rongdu and Drive to Darchen to proceed Hore. Overnight in lodge. Drachen

Day 12 :

Hore Mansarovar to Saga. Overnight in lodge. Saga

Day 13 :

Drive to Nyalam. Overnight in lodge. Nayalam

Day 14 :

Drive back China - Nepal Border and Kathmandu check-in Hotel Overnight in Kathmandu Kathmandu

Day 15 :

Transfer to Airport for onward flight.

We recommend :

• Have your passport ready well in advance to avoid last moment visa procedures
• Kindly consult your doctor and get yourself examined for this yatra
• As Mount Kailash and lake Mansarovar is situated at high altitudes please start exercises like walking, jogging, yoga and other breathing exercises in order to have a successful yatra
• Kindly get yourself a medical insurance for this yatra. Please make sure you cover yourself for emergency evacuation (helicopter) in the insurance.

Packing List (Yatri need to bring along with them) :

• A small pack bag
• Enough clothing for the whole Yatra. Do not over load
• First aid kit (typical backpacking kit for minor injuries/ our guide also will carry).
• Any regular medicines that you take
• Toiletries’ kit (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, towels etc).
• Water bottle / Thermos flask for hot water (2 liters).
• Sports shoes (Good one for walking)
• Woolen socks (around 4 pairs).
• Wool/thermal long underwear (shirt and pants, which is easier to were while doing Parikrama). Note : Ladies to carry a pair of Salwar Kameez / Pants for the Parikrama
• Underpants (3 or 4).
• Gloves.
• Sunglasses.
• Sun lotion cream.
• Nuts, biscuits, powder juice.
• Rain wear (Umbrella or Raincoat)
• Torch / Candle / Matchsticks

Note :

Down Jackets and Sleeping bags will be provided by Eco Trek on returnable basis at Katmandu for the Yatra.

Kindly fill the booking forms along with passport copies (1st two pages and last two pages) and 3 copies of your photos (passport size) Kindly make a payment of Rs. 25,000/- (for Indian nationals) or $510 for non Indian nationals as non refundable deposit for visa and other procedures.
