Detailed Itinerary :

Day 01 : Delhi - Leh (Complete Rest in Leh for acclimatization)

Trekking in Leh Ladakh - Take the morning flight for Leh. Check into the hotel and relax the whole day. This is necessary for getting acclimatized. Overnight at the hotel - Tour to Delhi.

Day 02 : Leh - Shey - Thiksey - Hemis

Indus Valley Trekking Tours - On this day you will go a sightseeing trip to some ancient monasteries in this area. Shey Gompa : is about 15 kms from Leh. It used to be the summer palace of the kings of Ladakh - Tour to Leh. There are lots of Stupas and Gompas built around the palace. Shey palace was built by Deldan Namgyal in the beginning of 17'Th century AD. Main attraction in Shey is the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue inside the Dresthang Gompa - Adventure Tour.

Thiksey Gompa :

Tour Packages Thiksey - close to Shey is about 17 kms from Leh. The monastery is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Ladakh and belongs to the Gelukspa order - Tour to Indus Valley.

Hemis :

Adventure Tour Packages - about 45 kms south of Leh it is one of the most famous and largest monastery in Ladakh. It belongs to the Drukpa order and was founded in the early 17'Th century. Day 03 : Leh

Tour of Stok Palace, home of the hereditary rulers of Ladakh, and Spituk Gompa.

Day 04 : Leh - Likir

Tour of Basgo, Alchi, and Likir Gompas. Camp at Likir - Trekking Tour in Himalayas.

Day 05 : Likir - Yangthang

Tour to Likir - Trek over Pobe la (3,550 meters) to Yangthang. O/N in camp.

Day 06 : Yangthang

Trek to Ridzong Gompa and back to Yangthang. O/N in camp - Tour Packages Yagyhang.

Day 07 :

Adventure Trekking Tour in Himalayas India - Yangthang - Sermanchan Trek over Sermanchan la (3,750 meters) and Lago la (3,750 meters) to Ang. O/N in camp

Day 08 :

Sermanchan - Wanla Trek to Temisgang, then over Bongbong la (3,630 meters) to Khaltse, then by jeep to Wanla. Camp at Wanla.

Day 09 :

Wanla - Lamayuru Trek from Wanla over Prinkti la (3,725 meters) to Lamayuru. Camp at Lamayuru - Adventure Tour to India.

Day 10 :

Lamayuru - Leh Return by jeep to Leh. O/N in guest house.

Day 11 :

Leh - Delhi Transfer to the airport for the spectacular flight across the main chain of the Himalaya to Delhi.

Note :

For the more adventurous a drive to either Manali or Srinagar can also be arranged on request.
