Trekking in Uttrakhand - This is a tour taking you into what's called the Switzerland of India. From Rishikesh we travel to Okhimath, a gateway to the Panch Kedar region and the starting place of a trek to the picturesque Deoria Tal with memorable views of the Kedarnath massif and Chaukhamba. Traversing a spectacular valley studded with Garhwal villages clinging to steep hillsides, we make our way to Chopta and from here climb on the impressive Shiva temple of Tungnath(3,680m). Towering above the temple is Chandrasila(3,810m), a spire-like peak offering the grand panorama of the Indian Himalaya at its best. We summit the peak for a spectacular panorama of the Garhwal Himalaya. |

Adventure Tour - The trek along the holy river Bhagirathi takes you right up to the source of the river-popularly known as Gaumukh (Cow's snout) at the base of the Gangotri glacier. This trek is for adventure lovers and involves mountain climbing, rock climbing and glacier traverse. This trek can however be undertaken by non-mountaineers with sound health also. The trek passes through an orchard of coniferous pine trees at Chirbasa and birch at Bhojbasa. From Bhojbasa one has to trek to Lanka and Gaumukh. From Gaumukh to Nandanvan one traverses along the Gangotri glacier and Chatturangini glacier. One can pitch one's camp at the junction of Chatturangini glacier and Bhagirathi-Gangotri glacier. |

This Peeth was founded by Shankaracharya, the famous Hindu Guru. Joshimath is considered to be one of the most sacred placed by Hindus since it is believed that Lord Badrinath (Lord Vishnu) resides here during winters. Surrounded by tall and majestic snow covered Himalayas, Joshimath is an important destination en route celebrated shine of Badrinath which is about 42 Km from here. The religious centre, established by Adi Shankaracharya, which he called Jyotirmath, later came to be known as Joshimath. |

| Roopkund Trek

There are two versions of these findings. One that they are the remains of soldiers under General Jorawar Singh who had been on a mission to Tibet. Another story is that they are remains of people who went on a Raj Jat Yatra to the Trishul base about 200 years ago.
